Loch Ruthven

Stephanie Claussen’s arrangement of the traditional Scottish song “Loch Ruthven” is for solo lever or pedal harp. According to the notes at the end of the Simon Fraser Collection, Loch Ruthven is a good fishing lake in Inverness-shire, Scotland (or was, in the 1800s). The delightful melody is both elegant and powerful at the same time. This piece can also be purchased as part of Claussen’s collection The Road Home from Skye.
