Brose and Butter

Stephanie Claussen’s arrangement of the traditional Scottish song “Brose and Butter” is for solo lever or pedal harp. This catchy slip jig incorporates rhythmic muffles in the left hand to give the tune even more “punch.” This piece can also be purchased as part of Claussen’s collection The Road Home from Skye. It makes a lovely set when followed by Claussen’s arrangement of “Jacky Tar” and “Far From Home” from the same collection.
