Frankie and Johnny

Sonja Inglefield’s arrangement of the traditional folk song “Frankie and Johnny” is for two pedal harps. This fun duet is based on an American ballad that tells the story of a woman scorned. It includes swung eighth notes and a staccato blues bass line accented by pedal slides. Short and entertaining, this piece is a great addition to any recital, especially as an encore.
