Nearer, My God, to Thee

Shari Pack’s arrangement of Lowell Masons’ “Nearer, My God to Thee” is for three lever or pedal harps. This arrangement includes arpeggios, a counter melody, and finally, both melodies played together for a unique take on this beautiful hymn. The peaceful melody was said to be “played by the musicians on board the Titanic as it sank into the sea,” says Pack.
