Greensleeves

Shari Pack’s ensemble version of “Greensleeves” is for three lever or pedal harps. (Harp 1 is playable on lever harp with slight modifications to the left hand.) This favorite old melody can be played throughout the year as a traditional English folk tune, while at Christmas time we play it as “What Child Is This?”. “Harp 3 introduces a counter melody at measure 24, which is played as an interesting descant during the rest of the piece,” says Pack.
