The Snow Lay on the Ground

Serena O’Meara’s arrangement of the Anglo-Irish carol “The Snow Lay on the Ground” is for two lever or pedal harps. This sparkling arrangement represents Mary and Joseph and “all the activity in the manger – the visitors, animals, and angels – all coming to worship the Lord,” says O’Meara. The melody is evenly divided between both Harp 1 and 2 parts.
