Notes from the arranger
Czech-born Rudolf Friml toured the United States several times before permanently settling in New York in 1906. He composed this piece in 1909 for cello and piano. It is equally beautiful played by cello and harp.
Serena O’Meara’s arrangement of Rudolf Friml’s Spanish Serenade Op. 54, No. 1 is for pedal harp and cello. This fun, upbeat and charming melody is great for background music events, recitals, and more! Scroll down for notes from the arranger.
