Serena O’Meara’s arrangement of Marin Marais’s “Rondeau L’Agreable” is for lever or pedal harp and any of the following instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, trumpet in B-flat, alto saxophone, violin, viola, or cello. “This well known Baroque piece is in rondo form using a two octave range on the melody instrument,” says O’Meara. “The harp accompaniment considers which strings are still vibrating, finger placement and chromatics.” Click here to see a version of this arrangement for pedal harp only and melody instrument.
