Lord Inchiquin

Serena O’Meara’s arrangement of Turlough O’Carolan’s “Lord Inchiquin” is for two lever or pedal harps. This is one of O’Carolans most dignified, slow airs. O’Meara says it was composed “in honor of the Fourth Earl of Inchiquin, William O’Brien (1694-1777) at Drumoland Castle, County Clare.” The melody is evenly divided between both Harp 1 and 2 parts.
