Note from the arranger
Gladys Hubner studied with Marcel Grandjany while she played in Radio Music City and Broadway orchestras. She nicknamed this beloved duet “don’t whack your thumbs”. She felt that harpists need to be aware of how each finger sounds so they can play it as smooth as the pianists play. I showed this arrangement to Eileen Malone while studying with her. I promised her that once this became Public Domain, I’d publish it.
