Serena O’Meara’s arrangement of the traditional Scottish air “Kelvingrove” is for lever or pedal harp and any of the following instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, trumpet in B-flat, trombone, soprano saxophone, violin, viola, cello, or contrabass. This melody has existed under various titles, names of composers, meters and performance tempos for well over 200 years. In this arrangement, it is evenly shared between the two instruments. The river after which the tune is named, Kelvin, is located near Glasgow, Scotland.
