For two lever or pedal harps, Serena O’Meara’s “Animals At The Stable” is a medley combining the traditional carols “The Friendly Beasts,” “Oxen and Sheep,” and “Whence Comes This Rush of Wings.” O’Meara uses different keys (F, D, and G Dorian) throughout, as well as sound effects to imitate animals sounds. The melody is divided evenly between both harp parts. A melody part is also included with the score for use by a beginning level harpist. Scroll down for notes from the arranger.
