Note from the composer

This piece can be played on single-action pedal harp and concert pedal harp.

The lush green, the huge ancient trees next to the river, and the lyrical atmosphere of the untouched, peaceful landscape of the Brecon Beacons National Park became my source of inspiration for this piece. It begins with a melody in the left hand, as if a cello were playing it.
