Notes from the arranger
Harpists are often asked to play popular melodies at functions, be they ceremonies, receptions, weddings or official dinners. In this collection of ten popular Scottish tunes, each may be played individually or all ten as a medley, lasting about fifteen minutes; performed as such, the harpist should please everyone, since each member of the audience will have their favourites.
I sincerely hope that performing these arrangements will give you as much pleasure as I have had researching the rich repertoire of Scottish melodies.
