“Introduction” from Aida

Megumi Nakamura has arranged the “Introduction” from Giuseppe Verdi’s opera Aida for solo pedal harp. Featured in Act I, Scene 2, the harp is used both in the orchestral score, as well as an onstage prop. While the original introduction ends ambiguously, this arrangement is crafted as a concert piece with a more resolute ending.
