A round is one of the most remarkable forms in music. Seemingly simple in construction, rounds have a superpower that enables them to be layered continually over themselves in a musically sophisticated structure. Immensely satisfying to play, rounds are perfect for teacher/student duets or in any kind of harp ensemble. The rounds in this collection have been drawn from a variety of sources, including favorite nursery rhymes such as “Three Blind Mice” and classic German rounds like “Music alone shall live,” and works by classical composers such as Purcell and Haydn.
