“Eglogue” from ‘Romance sans paroles’

Marguerite Lynn Williams has transcribed Cécile Chaminade’s “Eglogue” from Romance sans paroles for solo pedal harp. Chaminade (1857–1944) was a prolific composer who published more than four hundred pieces over her eighty-six years. The piece is a depiction of a pastoral poem with a lovely lilting melody.
