The Carnival of the Animals

$0.00$85.00

Harp duo Laura Oetzel and Daniel Mattelé have arranged Camille Saint-Saëns’ The Carnival of the Animals for two pedal harps. This is one of the best known pieces of Saint-Saëns, if not of all classical music. Two movements are not included in this arrangement: 3. “Wild Asses” (“Swift Animals”) and 10. “Aviary.” In the original work, the 11th movement is called “Pianists.” In this arrangement it has been replaced by “Harpists,” an “original” composition by the arrangers.
