The Colorado Trail

$3.99

Kim Robertson’s arrangement of the traditional song “The Colorado Trail” is for solo lever or pedal harp. A traditional cowboy song first published in 1927, it was popularized by the Kingston Trio, among others, during the folk music revival. The lovely, ambling melody is arranged with rhythmic guitar-style chords evoking the western cattle trail. It includes some harmonic variations on the second and third verse along with some unison melody. This piece can also be purchased as part of Robertson’s collection Favorite Harp Tunes – Beautiful American Airs and Ballads.
