Shady Grove

Kim Robertson’s arrangement of the traditional song “Shady Grove” is for solo lever or pedal harp. The popular Appalachian folk song has many different versions and lyrics that use the same melody, including the English ballad “Matty Groves.” This arrangement includes a rhythmic intro and interludes, easy chords and some bass lines. It can played at a brisker tempo and would be suitable for a smaller-range harp.
