March Of King Laois

Kim Robertson’s arrangement of the traditional Irish song “March Of King Laois” is for solo lever or pedal harp. This slow, stately jig is written in mixolydian mode. Pronounced King ‘lay-eesh,’ it first appeared in the second Bunting collection of 1809. This piece can also be purchased as part of Robertson’s collection Celtic Harp Solos.
