Lakes of Pontchartrain

Kim Robertson’s arrangement of the traditional song “Lakes of Pontchartrain” is for solo lever or pedal harp. A ballad of unrequited love from a Creole woman in Louisiana, the song is popular with both Celtic and American folk singers. The unusual melody is arranged here with simple chords in waltz tempo along with a few variations.
