Note from the arranger
The word “Jo” is a Scots term of endearment meaning “my sweetheart.” The melody has one pre-set F-sharp in the melody, but no lever changes. It can be played slowly or at a brisker tempo.

Kim Robertson’s arrangement of the traditional 16th century melody by Robert Burns is for solo lever or pedal harp. The tune is based on Burns’ love poem about a married couple. This arrangement has open chords in the left hand with some wider intervals and inversions, along with some harmony lines.
