Highland Mary

$4.99

Kim Robertson’s arrangement of Robert Burns’ “Highland Mary” is for solo lever or pedal harp. This beautiful melody is a setting for Burns’ love poem to Mary Campbell. The original air was titled “Katherine Ogie.” The slow, haunting melody features traditional dotted Scottish rhythms and the left hand plays open chord patterns with some inversions and harmony lines. This piece can also be purchased as part of Robertson’s collection Scottish Ballads and Aires.
