Flowers of the Forest

Kim Robertson’s arrangement of the traditional Scottish song “Flowers of the Forest” is for solo lever or pedal harp. This stirring version of the ancient folk song is in the key of D mixolydian. The song is a lament for those lost in the Battle of Flodden (1513). This piece can also be purchased as part of Robertson’s collection Treasures of the Celtic Harp.
