Come All You Fair and Tender Ladies

$3.99

Kim Robertson’s arrangement of the traditional song “Come All You Fair and Tender Ladies” is for solo lever or pedal harp. This beautiful Appalachian folk ballad is also known under the title “Little Sparrow” or with the word “Maidens” used instead of “Ladies.” It was popularized by Peter, Paul & Mary (under the title “Tiny Sparrow”) and recorded by numerous other prominent folk singers. The arrangement features a simple but harmonically rich accompaniment with variations on each of the four verses. It sounds best played slowly and expressively. This piece can also be purchased as part of Robertson’s collection Favorite Harp Tunes – Beautiful American Airs and Ballads.
