Are Ye Sleepin’ Maggie?

$4.99

Kim Robertson’s arrangement of Robert Tannahill’s “Are Ye Sleepin’ Maggie?” is for solo lever or pedal harp. The lyrics of this Scottish poem describe a courtship visit on a stormy night. This arrangement has three verses with varying expanded left-hand chord patterns on each verse. The haunting, syncopated melody uses simple ornaments and moves to the high octave on the last verse. This piece can also be purchased as part of Robertson’s collection Scottish Ballads and Aires.
