Note from the arranger
Lullabies are the intimate music of the home found in cultures throughout the world. These comforting songs establish a safe place and serve as a sleep aid. They call forth memories of multiple generations. Lullabies are portable. Like prayers or beloved stories, we can take them with us. For refugees they can reestablish a sense of home. The Lullabies for Heart’s Ease collections offer the opportunity to travel the world and experience the beauty of lullabies. These arrangements explore the unique and beautiful tonal qualities of the harp.
There are meter changes, occasional rolled chords, left-hand harmonics, and arpeggios.
