Description

Note from the arranger

This is an upper-intermediate to advanced-level arrangement with some jumps in the left hand and pedaling that takes a little practice. Though there are frequent pedal changes, they are arranged to allow time for each foot to move. Chord voicings are simplified to make the fingering and pedaling easier, while aiming to keep as much of Chopin’s distinctive chromaticism as possible. The duration of the piece can be adjusted in intervals of 30 seconds (four measures), with a coda of about 15 seconds.
