The lever harp version is in C major (with A-flat accidentals). Lever changes are given as text between staffs and are written using the octave placement of the string – ex. ‘4Ab’. The pedal harp version in E-flat major.

Gretchen Monson has arranged “Nimrod” from Edward Elgar’s orchestral work Enigma Variations, for solo lever or pedal harp. The piece features extended chords (up to tenths) in both hands, parallel thirds and sixths, and carefully marked dynamics. This arrangement is part of Monson’s “At Your Fingertips” series of classical works arranged for the harp at a late-intermediate level.
