Fabio Rizza’s Skylanterns is for solo lever or pedal harp. Inspired by the enchanting beauty of Chinese lanterns, this piece conjures a magical, dreamlike atmosphere through the creative play of homophonic resonance between using both D-sharp and E-flat notes. “It invites the listener to follow its joyful, evocative melody and to drift gently into a world of daydreams,” says the composer.
