Diana Stork’s Dangerous Waters is for solo lever or pedal harp, or harp and cello. This dramatic piece was written at a time when Stork was experiencing an extremely challenging and dangerous situation. Reflecting this, the piece incorporates interlocking rhythms and a variety of styles from Classical to Celtic, Latin, and African. Stork says that “interspersed with the danger are musical moments of strength, and a true feeling of peace emerges.”
