Description

This book includes madrigals, ballads, dances, and occasional music from the 16th and 17th centuries from various European countries. Madrigals and ballads come from vocal pieces, while occasional music is instrumental theme and variations from vocal songs. The dances are representational of court dances of the period.

The arrangements in this collection are appropriate for a lever harp with 22–26 strings.
