The Holly and the Ivy

Corkey Christman’s arrangement of the 19th century English carol “The Holly and the Ivy” is for solo lever or pedal harp. This four-verse arrangement begins with a lively first verse, followed by a more reflective verse that liberally uses two-against-three, and ends with two more quick verses that build toward an exciting finish. This arrangement can be found in two of Corkey Christman’s holiday collections: Glad Tidings, Volume 2 (Lever Harp) and Glad Tidings, Volume 2 (Pedal Harp).
