Corkey Christman’s arrangement of the 17th century English carol “I Saw Three Ships” is for solo lever or pedal harp. This clever six-verse arrangement develops from a simple first verse through variations with syncopated accompaniment to final verses that have the melody joyously jumping up and down the harp. This arrangement can be found in two of Corkey Christman’s holiday collections: Glad Tidings, Volume 1 (Lever Harp) and Glad Tidings, Volume 1 (Pedal Harp).
