The First Noel (for two harps)
$4.00 – $25.00
Cindy Horstman has arranged the traditional carol “The First Noel” for one pedal harp and one lever or pedal harp. This meditative version of the holiday classic uses warm, jazz-based chords to create a gentle, rocking motion that supports a simple melody with an improvisational section in the middle of the piece.

(Includes score and both parts. Score not available separately.) - Harp 1 only: $4.00

Duration: 2:35

A great new piece with a fantastic jazz section — invites improv. This is invigorating yet still rings of the song we all cherish. If this arrangement is performed along with Cindy Horstman’s Deck the Halls, you will have the backbone of a fantastic Holiday performance. Great for all levels of harpists.

Hot off the press! We premiered The First Noel last week and had a great audience response. This is one of Cindy’s easier arrangements and goes together seamlessly. There is a written out improv section in the middle of the piece with beautiful rolled chords at the end. Harp 1 can be played on lever harp, but pedals are needed for harp 2.

And I agree with the previous two comments made by Badger2821 & Cecioboe. Have fun with it…I am.
