Notes from the arranger
In C major, with the B section in A-flat. Arranged with an eye to the original orchestration, especially the jumpy bass line in places.
Charles E. Peery has arranged Delibes’s well-known “Flower Duet” from Lakmé for two pedal harps. “Fun to play, this familiar piece is well worth making a plan to use it with a friend!” says the arranger, adding, “It sounds harder than it is, which is always a good thing!” Click here for the arranger’s harp and organ version.
