Shari Pack has arranged two rags by American composer Charles Hunter for three pedal and lever harps. (Harp 1 and Harp 2 are better played on pedal harps. Harp has no chromatics and could be played on a lever harp.) “There are some sophisticated rhythmic patterns here that really add to the fun,” says Pack. (See more notes below.)

Notes from the arranger:

American composer, Charles Hunter, has written rags that are fun to play and to hear. His first rag, “Tickled to Death,” was published in 1899 when he was 23 years old. His final rag, “Back to life,” was published in 1905 shortly before his death.
