Note from the arranger

This beautiful Renaissance piece was written for the lyra viol by English composer William Corkine in his Second Booke of Ayres published in 1612. It is an early example of repertoire written for unaccompanied lyra viol. I have transcribed and arranged the original tablature of this beautiful lyra viol music for harp. Some later versions of this tune are simply called “Come live with me.”
