About the composer

Ella Lamb was 7 years old when this piece was published in 2026, and she began playing harp when she was 2 years old. She also plays piano and flute. Ella wants to be a professional ballerina and has studied ballet since she was 17 months old. Along with music and ballet, she enjoys building with Legos, playing with her older brother, drawing, gardening, hiking, and cooking.

Note from the composer

In May of 2025, we got a 40-string pedal harp and named the harp Crimson Blaze. The day we brought Crimson Blaze home, my brother and I spent the whole day playing it and I wrote the A section of this piece as a love song for the harp. Later I added the B section of the piece after trying lots of arpeggios to see what order of chords sounded best to me. At the end of the piece it returns to the A section.
