Notes from the arranger
Edvard Grieg, the Norwegian composer, is known for many beautiful melodies. This is one of his best, and was first heard in 1875.

This famous “Prelude for Morning” from the Peer Gynt Suite by Grieg appears here in an arrangement for four harps (three pedal harps and one lever harp) by Shari Pack. The melody is divided among all the parts, and the arrangement also includes a descending arpeggio pattern. (See notes below.)
