Lute Suite in E Major (transposed in E-flat Major)

Laura Sherman has transcribed and edited Johann Sebastian Bach’s Lute Suite in E Major for solo pedal harp. Perhaps the most well-known of the Bach’s lute suites, it has a sonorous opening movement and numerous, distinctive dance movements. Extensive notes on style, history, and ornamentation are included. This edition has been transposed to E-flat major. Sherman has also transposed this piece in D-flat major to allow for more resonance on the harp.
