Prelude in D Major

Laura Sherman has transcribed Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Prelude in D Major” for solo pedal harp. This is the fifth prelude in the first volume of Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier collection. The combination of sparse pedal changes and small leaps and scale passages in the right hand help make this an excellent etude or concert piece for intermediate harpists. Historical notes and notation notes are provided.
