Does anyone else dream of finding a GOOD harp in a pawn shop, for, oh, say $500?

I’d vote for electrify them and hire them out to Rock or metal bands.

Ah, yes – resonant frequencies and interrupted sound waves – I ran into this a couple weeks ago doing some hospice playing in a home – I was set up under a rather low ceiling fan in the lady’s bedroom -running at a medium low speed –

That’s pretty nice. We really need more talented composers like you to write for harp.

Get back to the song, I think it works very well on lap harps which generally have a brighter and sharper sound. I personally found the rhythm

I have several bad habits that I’m working on….they have plagued me for years. Posture. Rhythm. Elbows up. “Dig in” the fingers at the same time with correct placement. Rhythm. Did I say Rhythm?

Audrey, you make me want to join a choir again!

Cecilia, thanks for the welcome. I’m sorry to hear that you have had so many challenges in your life, but I’m glad to hear that the harp has been a good therapy for you. I’m glad your son is doing well. I have a cousin with Down syndrome (which is very different but still a case of special needs) and we all love him to pieces.

    You

Thanks for the good reply. And now! yes that is a new way of composing but it only make me write the notes on the easyer way.Everything else is the same. It is not
like I randomly writed notes and then without any thinking make the song. First I
have the sound in my head and then in the computer or on the paper if you prefered.
    But now I see that

    Laurie,

Denise shut June down by saying “end of discussion” rather than answering her legitimate question, which remains unanswered.
