Hi Harp Guy, you play the flute as a hobby or the Harp? wich one is your main instrument?

i had the same problem with a non experienced teacher at the conservatory we had a bad connection, and also didnt know why, but its something inside of her any way she made my lessons as a hell, and i had a lot of time to recover psychologically from her non healthy behavior, and the problem that she was the only teacher at the cons, and had to sudy with her for 5 years, she was young with no experience with students , plus some problems in her, but in my Doctorate studies i got the teacher of my dreams, she was very kind to me and friendly she dealt with me as her son, she invited me to have dinners with her family, you know you can change any body, if your teacher is like that so leave her alone with her character and search for another teacher as Carl advised you. now when i started teaching i faced

Dears thank you for your advices and suggestions, but i do deal with Bar clients that have a very weak cultural back ground, what is making me angry, is that people like football matches more than Music, and the problem when you have TV in the same place where you are playing and it comes to choose between watching football or listening, i got an agreement

Hi Elizabeth thank you for your answer, i do agree with you, some difficult places need to be memorized, in Duet for example harp & flute, etc.. in orchestral parts also as in solo, but Sarah Bullen has tow books with all important parts, its very hard to memorize it all , and in

Hi Lynn, i am happy to find one of Mrs Sarah’s students here, but the descending melody can be heard by on accent on the last top note in the right as i know when i play arppegios both hands L.H 4 notes R.H 4 too the 7 notes go toward the last high 8 note, but maybe Britten add the accent in the high note in both hands for a reason he wanted or Mrs Sarah’s did that? the second bar the glissando ,thanks for explaining, but when we play the glissando from C the R.H down to the chord A.D.F.A do i need to play the whole notes of the chord or only the lowest A in her recording i didnt hear the whole chord played ?? i think this glissando from C down should be played not only R.H also L.H as the R.H cant go too down .

pedalization in bar 4 and 5 moving pedal D from b position to sharp directly

Hi Dale, i dont agree with the idea that harpists do play scales because other musiciens do it, it really very useful for technique, let me tell you my opinion as i practice the scales in a high speed i can after that play classical pieces with scales pattens easily and freely as Mozart concert, french classical music ,as Hasselmans, Naderman, Cardon etc……, and at the end it warms up your hand, but i think many of us dont want to start the day with it, as we dont have the patience and we need to start playing the pieces we work on . it s my opinion, mayb not right.

    regards.
