i have an old cassette of Richard Clayderman, was in the 90s a well known light music pianist, and he played a music called (A white shade of pale) i like it so much, but i think no way to get the score, and in the cassette not written the name of the composer,i think this music sounds beautiful on harp, what about Monney Money song by ABBA group? do you play it on harp?

Hi Christian i play 6 days and one day off, i am not starter, you know i find diffeculties in easy piano arrangment than in complicated one, and i dont think that easy piano scores are better than harp arrangements, why? you think like that, if the editor was a harpist and gave the music a harpestic soul and character why not, i think will be better than piano……………now i am practicing a music for piano from tv movie (the thorn birds) theme Meggies, i find a lot of diffeculties by playing it on harp than on piano, but if there is a good arranger harpist think how it will be more comfortable on the harp i prefer the harp arrangement then……….

i will be glad to hear also the experiences of the harpists who have also second harp to practice, how they can keep them interested if they play for a long time in one place and they can by the result to keep their listeners interested too. and how often do you add a new music to your daily repertiore……….??

Hi Saul, realizing frustrations change nothing in the matter, but facing it all is the right way, but do you think that the harpist’s life is full of frustrations and annoyances??? i know our life is not easy at all,but not so black.

Carl i am astonished like you about a clever composers especially when they are harpists too and they do mistakes, and also som reductor you know Morceau de concert by saint sans, some time you face non logical writings no enough fingers for playing it all or a very wide chords that hands cant catch it, well saint sans is not a harpist, but what about Zabel? i asked week ago about his piece La Source, some one answered me and said its a hand breaker whyyy? Zabel is a great harp player and teacher why he did it like that without thinking of other harpists with a middle or small hand’s size??????? and the same as you reffered about some double bb or double ##
