Participantduring Thanksgiving i took my l&h shamrock lever harp to her house i played for the last time ever
after my grandma died i got to play my l&h 85 GP harp i played going home at her funeral 1 of my aunts on my dads side family said “i could listen to Mia play glissandos all day” my heart was broken for my grandma’s death but I’ll cherish that forever
PS i still miss her

Participantyes I’ve even named them
i love my harps a lot
I’ve got 2 harps both are girls, from Lyon & Healy in Chicago & their taller than me
ever time i play it feels like I’m hugging them & after i play i give her a kiss on her body
one is a natural shamrock lever harp named Emily the other is a 85 GP in mahogany & her name is Gina
go to harps & harp accessories & check out harp names tab

Participanti myself am an example of a visually impaired harp student
i have low vision in my left eye & only light perception in the right eye though i don’t have much sight i can still play both my harps i just have to play by ear & memory it’s a little harder to do because i don’t read sheet music & my harp teacher has to teach me a slightly bit differently than she teaches the rest of her other harp students
i also have CP but it’s very slight
i have to have more light so i can find my strings
i give my harp teacher a good challenge
mia-strayer
Participanti own a l & h 85 GP
i love my harp
44 string is more than enough
69 ibs is good for someone who is about 4ft
the sound is rich, warm & good for solo harping
the extended soundboard is big & beautiful
