As a percussionist, I’ll just say if Evelyn Glennie can play the marimba blind I don’t see why this girl can’t play the harp that way. Don’t get me wrong, I can’t imagine doing it myself, but clearly it’s possible.
I’m told she is an amazing teacher and player. @[[alison-reese:User:Alison Reese]] and @[[kimberly-rowe:User:Kimberly Rowe]] published an interview of her in Harp Column not all that long ago… soon we will have it online for subscribers!

Yes… and sorry about the voice mail thing… we should really put our official phone answering hours on the recording. Interesting. I don’t even know what browser AOL uses — sounds like it doesn’t like the session cookie we use with the new site. I’ll poke around and see if I can find others who are having the same problem.
Heh… that was a related bug fix for Internet Explorer 8. Been meaning to deal with that for a while. On most browsers, that’s a nice pretty drop-shadow… not on IE, though…

Very strange. The font is actually quite a bit bigger, I’m surprised you’re not noticing a difference — we went from 13 pixels to 15 pixels. Can you tell me what browser you’re using, so I can try to reproduce the sign-in problems? And, can you tell me if you’re seeing the reply form at the bottom of your posts?
It might be that you just need to flush the cache on your browser, depending on which one it is. If you would hold down the “shift” key while clicking the reload button at the top of the page, that will dump any cached items on the page, which might help… let me know…
Also, I’d love further suggestions on the forum design and format. Personally I think this design is a major improvement over the old forums, especially with the addition of search, tagging, photo upload, sound clips, and so on. I know we were lacking a bunch of features at first but I feel like we’ve about made them up (and I should have the posts from the old forum loaded today with any luck). Given the new, larger font, are there other things you’d like to see changed?
Hey Sylvia — are you still having problems posting replies? Can you tell me what browser you’re using, I’m anxious to get this fixed.
