ParticipantThis isn’t a “favorite” of mine, but I did find it really funny (how the harp is SO obviously without-a-doubt not being played) – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kVocBZwIHM
I really enjoy this one (Magdalene Wong, pedal harp)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZcwXi4A808
This one (Laoise Kelly and Mary Ann Kennedy, lever harps) – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBv-JbE7F5M
And this one (harp by Catriona McKay) – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3e6GleQ9sl0&feature=related
I also love all the Clive Morley ones!!!

ParticipantSince I spend half my musical time on harp and the other half on piano, I thought I’d share this YouTube clip I just found of me on the piano. I never thought I’d see the day when our daily activities can end up for public display…

ParticipantDear colleagues,
I apologize for being so late in answering. I could not have remembered the name of Artemi’s teacher. She is the blond lady who appears at second 17; she teachs him at the St. Petersbourg Conservatory. You can also see Artemy almost one year ago playing John Thomas’ Variations:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=N7mKub2MQ78In this another video you can see the father of Artemi, Andres Izmailov, performing in Cardiff’s Congress. Is the same young man that in Artemi’s video appears taking a photo to the child.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=UDH1VvXsRwwAlso the grandmother of Artemi is harpist (Natalya Izmailova), look and listen to her in this link:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=VwKemdpN-YgI hope all people enjoy its!

ParticipantI always have enjoyed Xavier de Maistre play Renie’s Legende, and i just found a video of Josh Layne play Grandjany’s Cadenza in the Handel Concerto. They’re both exquisite.

ParticipantHi!
Look at this version of Lucia di Lammermoor.
http://aam.blogcindario.com/2008/03/01130-el-arpa-solo-de-lucia-di-lammermoor-g-donizetti.html
The harpist is Olga Shevelevich, harp solist in the Mariinsky Thatre of St Petersburg.

ParticipantHello Harpists… My apologies for not posting a harp video. It’s coming… I promise. Next month I’m giving a concert and having it video taped. Then, I’ll have four 1-hour concerts of video to edit from.
In the meantime, I found another short piano video of myself. I don’t even know what I’m playing, but when I watch this, I’m glad I had Classical technical training… I think it paid off ergonomically.
Harp video to follow soon…. I promise!
