I just saw the new movie of the musical “Les Miserables”. There was a large harp part, which was played very beautifully. I waited for the end credits, and the harpist is listed! However, the credits went by too quickly for me to read the name! Does anyone know who it was? The music was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, England.

Elizabeth: If it was at Abbey Road, it was probably Skaila Kanga, as I believe she does most of the work there. I’ll try to find out–stay tuned!

I have confirmed with Skaila Kanga that she was indeed the one who played on the Les Mis soundtrack! She said the recording was done at Air studio but mixed at Abbey Road. Other recent movie soundtracks she’s played for are Skyfall, the Hobbit, Hitchcock, and Jobs. She’s working now for Dreamworks on The Croods. Busy lady!

Thanks so much! I thought it was probably Skaila.
